Mud pump cylinder assembly



The liquid cylinder, also known as the valve box, is the most important accessory in the hydraulic end system of the rig123.net' target='_blank'>drilling pump. The cylinder is made of 35CrMo forging.

The liquid cylinder, also known as the valve box, is a key component of the hydraulic end. It is forged from high-quality alloy steel 35CrMo or 40CrMnMo. It has no defects such as interlayer, crack, impurity, looseness and over-burning. Welding is not allowed. The product fully complies with the AP17K standard. According to the three-level forging inspection, the product adopts heat treatment and internal hardening treatment to achieve high durability. The inner wall hardness reaches HB285-330, and the mechanical properties can reach: σb≥850/MPC, σS≥670/MPC, δ≥15% ψ≥ 13%, the process has undergone rigorous inspection and strict non-destructive testing. The key parts of the cylinder are: the taper surface of the suction and discharge valve seat, the bonnet of the valve cover and the cylinder head. According to the customer's requirements, the surface of the cylinder can be electroless nickel-plated to enhance its corrosion resistance.
